About the Role
Proven experience as carpenter
Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
Good knowledge of English
Good understanding of basic math
Good physical condition and endurance
High school diploma; Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is required

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Install floor beams, lay sub flooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Install exterior grade doors and windows
• Minimum of 6 years of timber framing experience
• Must know how to work at heights and have fall protection experience
• Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
If you're a skilled Carpenter with at least 6 years of timber framing experience, the ability to work at heights safely, and proficiency in English, we want you on our team. We value teamwork, organization, and precision, and if you're a team player who can handle lifting 50 pounds, you're the right fit for us. Your experience with pneumatic tools and fall arrest safety certification are a plus.
